We have that same stuff here.

You can make a kings meal out of that by adding green olives, lots of garlic and basil, ham and maybe some shrimp or oysters.

What in the fucking hell are you on about!......it's rancid bacon flavour.... your base for a dish? Your compliment to the mild flavour with an even milder yet vasty more expensive ingredients?

"Maybe some shrimp and oysters"  are you fucking out of your mind!.... it's a joke right? I'm pissed off..... I'm infuriated!

Try it and report back.

Don't skimp on the garlic and basil.

The dish that's fucked up everywhere you go.... It's impossible to find a good carbonara!

As for Dude's contribution a joke, still.... this is what you get served in northern Europe!

actually that is not what they serve, here they serve mac and cheese with cut up slices of sandwich ham in it, that is even worse, but tastes amazing :)

The only difference between mac and cheese and carbonara is the ham added to it.

According to the Dutch... :)
