What is an Ego Death?

I'll weigh in a bit more on voluntary ego death.

It is when you make a concious decision to be more flexible as a person.

You choose not to cling to dogmas, models of reality, belief systems, patterns, narratives, emotions positive or negative, even facts.

Ultimately you believe NOTHING needs to change at any given time. There is nothing to fear or worry about. You can be your most authentic and unfiltered self and become TRUELY present.

It frees up near infinite mental and emotional resources that you can dedicate to selflessness, compassion, empathy, non judgmental attitudes, lack of prejudice, and spontanaeity.

"It is not the circumstances that hurt us, but rather the meanings we assign to them." - Marcus Aurelius.

Yes, attachment especially seems to be a particularly heavy minefield.

Heres another take on it. Excuse the overdramatic music at the end.
