Deep down, under all of the BS, is a core conviction that the reality of sexual politics between men and women should be criminalized in favor of women. There have been attempts to make men lying about their personal wealth or success to get laid a criminal offense. This is how the raw grab for power manifests in the consciousness of certain women - it's an opportunity to add additional leverage for women in what they perceive as the "gender power dynamic". When everything is reduced to a raw grab for power, honesty is the first thing out the window.

This girl should be ashamed and embarrassed for how this all went down. She's wrong for invading this mans privacy after they talked about it and resolved. And it's totally unfair of her to tell the story anonymously while putting Ansari's name out there on this.
