you know, I didn't know who Jimmy Dore was until a few days ago. I think I remember seeing/hearing him on TYT. He presents material very in your face style, I am going to keep my eye on him.

What are your guys' thoughts on him? Is he a jump to conclusions guy? Just comedian? Looking up more stuff from him seems to be down the middle, just not sure what he is all about yet. Looking for links to credit or discredit him, to help keep him in perspective.

Thanks ^^

I don't have any links per say but he just strikes me as a guy who was once a party-loyalist who woke up and realized, due the choices he's given, he'd much rather dine a la carte than just blindly support the establishment Dem candidate just because "TEAM". Those on the left who choose to dine a la carte and criticize neolibs as much as neocons are ostracized from the leftwing branch of the political and media establishment. So I see him as a guy like Rubin, or Eric Weinstein, or Scott Adams - lefties who started questioning the very unliberal policies of the DNC and were banished as a result. The recent Rubin report with Bret and Eric Weinstein explores this phenomenon in-depth.

So Jimmy is one of the dudes who was brave enough to criticize Obama and the media's coddling of his administration even though *gasp* he was the first black president. But make no mistake - Jimmy was a full-on Bernie Sanders supporter, not a Trump supporter. He wanted Bernie to be POTUS, and it was particularly crushing for Dore when the DNC robbed Bernie of the nomination and Bernie just folded like a cheap chair instead of going third party.

Jimmy is free enough to ask the same kinds of questions Rogan can ask without being immediately crushed by some establishment entity that butters his bread. That said, he's still affected by peer pressure and I think only recently finally parted ways with TYT live show. In other words Jimmy acknowledges the same problems and cover-ups any alternative media channel is free to cover without reprisal, but in terms of solution Dore will always angle towards socialism-style solutions like unions and a larger, more robust "social safety net". That's why he spit in Alex Jones' face - the Infowars people identify many of the same problem points but always prescribe a libertarian-style solution that Dore abhors.
