It's a marvel that Marvel has managed to pull all of this together without fucking it up. They've nailed it again and again and now we've arrived at a place where the hype is genuine.

Yeah, I had a friend point that out as well: they've essentially had this vision since Iron-Man and they've (mostly) kept their tone consistent and have hit the marks they've wanted to hit. Compare that with DC, who keeps changing their tone from movie to movie with no sense of consistency at all...there's a reason Marvel won the comic book movie wars.

as of 2008. Kevin Feige has been the producer of the marvel movies, the movies have been produced by Marvel Studios and no Avi Arad(producer)
everything before 2008's iron man was a film produced by another company with Marvel Entertainment or some other Marvel entity. with kevin feige as a co-producer or a executive producer and avi arad as a producer. in 2006 Avi disagreed with the studios COO over movie release schedual and didnt think the characters were strong enough to have solo movies on there own. so he left the studio. they put feige in charge and the rest is history and the present.
marvel does better than dc because they have better characters and they stick to the comics
