So does that mean the US doesn't have a problem with mass shootings?
(Old Spike)
maybe we should be talking about banning ALL drugs and make more hard laws until no one can have any fun whatsoever just work until u die how bout dat. people should have the option to make a mass shootin at the cost of not losing total freedom for everyone else every once in a while...if you dont like that youre a snowflake or send your kids to a SHIT school and u need to make more money ez as that

The US has a lot of problems. Should we solve them all by immediately banning things, or are personal responsibility and civil liberties still the backbone of our country? There is no utopia. It's freedom with a side of chaos or mounting government regulation in exchange for "safety".
I think the former is easier to manage because it's a cooperation amongst each other as humble citizens who simply want safe places to live our lives. The latter will be taken out of your hands and put into those with ambitions and lifestyles to maintain that are alien and often antagonistic to your own. Distrust of authority was baked into our government from the beginning and speciically for issues like these.

Who said anything about banning guns?
(Old Spike)
Maybe I jumped the gun on this one?
(please forgive me)
(Old Spike)

The world is over populated & Americans use more resources per capita than anyone else so I'm on FullAuto's side here. The more guns the better.

Meh, I just purchased a bull whip. That way I can whip those that disagree with me , whom I kidding I’m probly not gonna whip anybody but I do like to pretend I am Indiana Jones (plays iniana Jones music)

IMO there are 2 factors to massive uncontrollable gun violence (such as in the US)
1. Culture
2. Gun proliferation
Just having guns doesn't make people shoot each other more than any other country in the world. There ARE countries with high gun ownership (like the Swiss). Even Canada has a 'relatively' high gun ownership rate.
But the US has a vastly different culture. One part of which being "Me first. Fuck your regulations. Ima do wtf I want."
Contrary to what the video seems to suggest, YES more gun restrictions will reduce gun deaths. Some of these are valid ponts worth discussing, but not worth arguing that they would not reduce gun violence.

Yes, naturally gun availability will increase shootings, but that isn't the only reason, as we can see with other countries who have relatively high numbers of gun owners but shooting still stays at low levels.
In the US there is a disproportionate number of crazy people who get their hands on a gun.
