It's possible this is more to do with targetting advertising revenue than Jimmy himself though. Wall St Journal did the same thing last year, painting Pewdiepie as a neo-nazi. It didn't hurt Pewdiepie's popularity but it messed with Youtube's ad revenue.
If he's ruffling CNN's feathers he's doing something right.

Do people not use adblockers and actually watch advertisements on Youtube? I haven't seen advertisements on the internet in years and can't imagine seeing them now. If a site doesn't let me in unless I open them up to ads, I never visit it again. I'm so used to not seeing ads that if my adblocker stopped working, I would quit the internet.

If it's something one-off that you wanna see eg. an article on Forbes, just open in incognito & it'll work, so long as you haven't set adblocker to work in incognito as well.

Interesting. I've never tried that, I just add any site that won't let me in to my own block list. Right now I rarely go to a site that doesn't allow adblocking. When I go on someone's computer who doesn't have one, I'm stunned at how ads have flooded the internet.
