yeah i dunno... you can't just decide you wanna make the next ralph lauren or be the next world class anything. those people spent decades learning their craft and even then only got lucky to rise above the other couple thousand people who also put the same amount of time and dedication into it. it's as stupid as me saying i want to be the next schumacher, because i would've had to have started along that path since back when i was a kid.

Found some old pre-fame stuff from Def Poetry Jam. In this video you get to see how the crowd reacts differently as time goes by, how Kanye starts to dress differently. And he uses some now well-known of his lyrics too, but presented as poems, they actually make sense.
And he points out the same things people are still saying about him today, 12 years ago.

Entertainment cannibalises Kanye since it ran out of talent after years of promoting hacks in American Idol-type shows.

If you have 13 years left of life in you, you can put in your 10'000 hours to master a skill you really enjoy. Spend 2 hours a day doing what you love.
This man is absolutely right. Don't listen to people when they say you can't do something.
The reason why statistics show that very few people rise above competition and achieve is because most people won't fight for their dreams.
Stop focusing on how the deck is stacked or what you don't have.
