It's hard to trust a man who does some of the stuff he does but there's some truth to what he's saying for sure.

"...some of the stuff he does..."
Like what?
(Old Spike)
Like supporting a factual narrative that "independant" women are terrible for raising healthy boys.
Any healthy emotionally mature man that was raised by a single mom is the EXCEPTION, NOT THE RULE.
Before anyone chimes in with the abusive, alcoholic, drug ridden, mafia dad shit.
That was HER fault for not getting to know that man properly before having kids with him.

Supported McCain for president, supported Israel's invasion of Lebanon in 2006 & tells blatant lies about Israel-Palestine. That's all I saw in 2 mins on wikipedia/youtube. As a US politician there's no excuse for any of that stuff. It makes me question whether anything he says is true at all.
(Old Spike)
Of course he supported McCain, who else was he going to support, Obama?
Israel was justified in invading Lebanon in 2006.
He tells truths you don't like to hear about Israel-Palestine.
Larry Elder is not a politican. But if a politican says those things, they're not wrong.
(Old Spike)
McCain is the biggest supporter of al Qaeda in Washington.
Your views on what's justified have to be weighed against your rejection of both international law and documented history, as well as your amoral philosophy. The only thing driving your opinion as far as I can tell is your personal bias. Or am I missing something in the FullAuto Logic Engine?
Don't get me wrong, I like our back n forths. It's especially challenging to back up my bullshit when morality is thrown out the window.
(Old Spike)
If International Law actually exists then tell me who has the power to enforce it? The UN is not a world legislator, therefore any talk of "international law" is less than pointless.
I have gone over the "documented history" and my philosophy is that when someone starts a war and loses they don't get "do-overs" because they don't like the outcome.
The Arabs living in the West Bank enjoy more freedom than Arabs in neighboring nations. The Arabs living in the Gaza Strip are not governed by Israel and are therefore a microcosm of what would happen if the former Jordanian citizens in the West Bank were allowed to vote in Jew Haters to run their "state".

Larry Elder: Israel and the Palestinians

That's the video I saw, although I only listened for about 30 seconds. He's absolutely wrong so either he's stupid or a liar.
(Old Spike)
OR, he could just knows more than you on the subject, which leads him to a conclusion that differs from yours less informed one.
(Old Spike)
If he's more informed than me then he's a liar.
He starts out by suggesting a book by Joan Peters called "From Time Immemorial".
Below are a couple of opinions on that book, among countless scathing reviews:
- Robert Olson, The American Historical Review
Why don't you go ahead & read the criticism of that book & make your own mind up about whether Elder is a liar or stupid:

After recommending that book, Elder goes on to state how Arab states attacked "little Israel" within hours of the British troops pulling out in 1948. Why don't you go ahead & read a bit about what happened in 1948:

Within 1 minute & 30 seconds, Elder has exposed himself as historical farce. I don't need to continue listening.
(Old Spike)
He mentions one book from the 80's and you just reject EVERYTHING he says? Damn.
Exposed himself as an historical farce? That makes no sense. Larry Elder exists now, he is not an historical figure. He didn't write the book, therefore saying his a farce is also baseless.
