Wasn't the hugest Roseanne fan to begin with but I thought the Conners was good.

Well, I just watched it and wasn't very impressed.
I also find it a little weird that "Sheldon's mother" and "Debbie Gallagher" are in there but that may go away.

Didn't "hate" it. Just thought it was a little odd. I'll watch ep2 and decide whether or not it is worth following it. Is the kid transgender?

She dies from an overdose of a perscription drug. She was an addict. I found the irony quite amusing but not hillarious.

It's hard to respect the cast or believe in their family vibe when they didn't stick up for Roseanne. The first episode had a couple of good jokes but was full of cringe. I don't see it lasting without Roseanne keeping the writing on track. Plus, the guts of the show was Roseane's relationships with the other cast members. Kinda terrorising them in funny ways.

Maybe they would have stuck up for her if she would have apologised properly and not in the alt right snowflake blames everything but herself for her actions fashion.
