After the share holders have terminated Blizzard employees holiday bonus package in exchange for less favorable salary arrangements, Michael Mortheim one of the co founders of Blizzard has been terminated for challenging the activision phallus.
For myself personally, I will begrudgingly stop supporting their products and franchises.

the company was founded and first run by electrical and software engineers, not it's run by a board full of finance majors. what a surprise the quality of their product is declining.

Profit sharing programs only pay if the company makes a profit. I've seen both stock option and profit-sharing bonus schemes Crash and Burn to the woe of all. It looks like what happened here is they discontinued the program that was paying out.
I've seen a CEO and a half dozen founding executives watch with confusion and impotence as the human resources department of their own company proceeded to defraud and essentially destroy the company's capacity 2 engage with the market competitively. When you've got representatives of the Empowerment Group for women meeting you at Starbucks to tell you that they don't care about technical stuff so stop expecting them to do their job or they will slander you, seems like the high-tech sector has problems.
