Yea, that was a really stupid place to set up a spike strip, not to mention the fact that they pre-deployed in the middle of the road where the perp could see it. They should not have had traffic setting there past the strips for one. And the strips should be on the opposite side of the road and then pulled into position at the last moment for two.
Big pay day coming for this couple and the others who suffered damage as result of this moronic police.
