Bodycam Captures Suspect Pulling Gun On Female Cop Before Getting Shot

Another example of why women shouldn't be patrol officers.  Luckily she had a male officer close at hand to come put one through his skull.

Authorities have released dashcam and bodycam footage of a murder suspect pulling a gun on a Lakemoor police officer and attacking her in July. Lakemoor Police Officer Brianna Tedesco was on routine patrol at around 5 a.m. on July 24, 2018, when she came across an occupied SUV on a narrow gravel road near Four Seasons Boulevard & Sullivan Lake Road. The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office said that the man inside the car, Kenneth E. Martell, 36, of Meadville, Pennsylvania, was wanted for murder after he tied, robbed, beat and stabbed to death 88-year-old Theodore Garver in his Beaver Township, Pennsylvania home three days prior. Officer Tedesco found Martell lying down inside the vehicle. She asked him for identification and he gave her a fake name. Officer Tedesco then asked Martell for written identification and he pointed a handgun at her head. “It became apparent that the tender of a piece of paper was designed to distract Officer Tedesco from what Martell was about to do,” Lake County State’s Attorney Michael Nerheim said. A struggle ensued and the two began fighting over the gun. Lakemoor Police Officer Anthony Loiacono, who was the backup officer to Officer Tedesco, arrived at the scene. He fired one shot, which struck Martell in the head, after he saw the man was armed with a handgun in each of his hands, Nerheim said. Martell was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. An autopsy showed that Martell had numerous traces of drugs in his system at the time of his death. “Based upon the facts gathered in this investigation and a review of the applicable Illinois Statutes, Officer Loiacono acted reasonably and appropriately. Martell’s acts of deception and lies to Officer Tedesco were a prelude to an ambush,” Nerheim said in his released final report.

this is why police should always work in pairs. wtf took her partner so long anyway? it was a full 16 seconds from the first scream to when he entered camera shot.

not sure why you think this is anything to do with her being female? not only did she not get shot, she reacted really quick and held on for long enough for her backup to arrive.

That wasnt her partner, that was another cop arriving on scene. You can see him run past her car.

thought he might've come from another car but later there's only one set of headlights in that direction, and someone in that front car zooms the camera at 06.

Well let me explain, you see when the would-be killer pointed the weapon at her face the only thing she did right was grab it and point away from her.  After that she just screamed like an idiot and begged the murderer not to kill her, during which time he was grabbing a second gun with his other hand according to the background I read.

What she SHOULD have done after forcing the muzzle away from her was duck and move to the rear of the vehicle, draw her own sidearm and dump the magazine into the back of the drivers seat.  But she didn't, because she's a woman, she panics and all her training just dissapeared like a fart in the wind.  Meanwhile the male partner, upon hearing her screams, did exactly what he was suppose to do; drew his weapon and put one between the would-be killers eyes.

I know in modern times it's all "progressive" and "woke" to claim "Oh, men and women are the same!" and I'm sure it makes you feel virtuous to say that and let everyone know how "woke" you are.  But I prefer dealing in reality, because in reality there are consequences and those are sometimes life and death in the field of law enforcement.

Women cops are ENTIRELY out matched with it comes with dealing with dangerous & violent male suspects.  They are easily over powered and as this video shows, absent male backup, they are easily murdered.

And just so my point doesn't get lost among the strawmen that get thrown up, I'm not saying women should not be cops PERIOD.  I'm saying women should not be PATROL OFFICERS.  Investigators, sure.  There are plenty of jobs outside PATROL in law enforcement.

Don't think that it isn't lost on me that what I believe will ever be made a reality.  Society has gone to far down the feminist rabbit hole to back out now.  But I still maintain my position.

how fast do you think you can let go of the gun, duck, get behind the suv and fire your gun in the same general direction of your upcomming partner? you think faster than the guy turning his wrist and firing his gun at that male cop that didn't even have his gun drawn? congratulations, you either killed your partner or let the guy kill him.

anyways, women are not the problem, men are. let me explain.

first, you can teach a woman to shoot and you can teach them to fight. female ufc fighter beat the crap out of a mugger 2 days ago.this is her work

https://usatmmajunkie.files.wordpress.com/2019/01/ufc-polyana-viana-mugger-1.jpg

second, men do dumb shit when women are involved because it's biology. a man receives a boost of testosterone and cortisol just by being around a women. cortisol is going to increase stress and men are willing to take more risks under stress.

third. for thousands of years men have killed each other over them. for hundreds of years, books, tv shows, movies and dad have emphasized chivalry. women are to be protected.

you add those two together and you have potential disaster. you got a male police/soldier willing to leave cover to help a downed screaming female officer/soldier. as man, its easier to listen to another man yelling for help than a woman

This right here is real life. In most countries most officers have never had to use their guns and have never been faced with such a situation before. After 15years of giving people tickets and whatnot you get a gun in your face and your life might just end. It's hard to know how anyone would react. But sure, let's all judge these events from the comfort of our homes and imagine that we would kick that guys ass in an instant if we were there.
