Watch intro and then skip to 5:30. It was pretty clear why this gap exists from the start. This is the "trump way", folks.
This is also probably the way the UK is headed if a hard brexit should be realised.

I don't know if you all realize that States compete to bring in jobs using tax breaks. That isn't the cause of poverty in the Louisiana, this the result of politicians desperate to bring industry into the State. The assumption that all those companies they listed would have come to LA regardless of the tax break is flawed at best and retarded at worst.
