On March 15, Mehdi Hasan interviewed Erik Prince on the Al Jazeera show Head to Head. Hasan, is an old school journalist who asks pointed questions, calls out lies, demands the truth, and stays on topic when liars play Kelly Anne Conway's game of deny, deflect, redirect, lie again, and declare victory. Prince was forced into a ridiculous lie and Hasan nailed him to the wall as he often does by staying with the question and not just moving on. It's too bad there aren't more journalists like him today. Al Jazeera providing real journalism. What a world.

Good to see some more reality-based journalism in US media.

that was well-prepared, as all interviews should be. instead of asking general questions it was kept specific and with proof in hand. in the 2nd clip there's a great example, he doesn't ask about "more jobs" or "more factories" which is vague and so a dishonest answer can't be cornered, he asks specifically about "6-7 steel facilities".

No matter how you lean policically, this is the type of no-bullshit, dont-let-it-slide type of truth seeking WE ALL DESERVE and most of the media is TOO AFRAID to engage in. Why are they afraid? Hmmmmm, I wonder...
