A fire at a Philadelphia oil refinery sparked an explosion felt for miles
The explosion and fire came from a vat of butane -- one of the products that come from the process of refining crude oil -- at the Philadelphia Energy Solutions refinery starting around 4 a.m.
The refinery's fire crews have been fighting the flames -- with city fire crews in support -- and the blaze has been contained to the general vat area, Murphy said.
"The fire is not under control yet. Right now, companies are making sure that the fire does not spread," the fire chief told reporters after dawn.

Oil is made from ancient death buried deep in the earth ....we dig up ancient death and burn it , and expect good to come out of it .
