Sheriff: Body cam video shows deputy dragged 100 yards by suspect in Seminole County, Florida

A man is facing charges of attempted murder after he was accused of dragging a Seminole County, Florida, sheriff’s deputy 100 yards on an interstate while trying to flee a traffic stop on June 29.

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office released footage of the incident, in which the suspect, 38-year-old Rocky Rudolph Jr., can be seen arguing with the officer, identified as Aaron Blais, during the stop.

Footage shows Rudolph arguing with the officer before allegedly driving away while Blais was holding on to the window. Deputy Blais was dragged twice at 40 to 50 mph, police said.

During the incident, Blais fired into Rudolph’s car, striking him in the leg, police said. Rudolph escaped but was later arrested and was facing charges of attempted murder, local media reported.

Officer Blais was taken to a hospital and subsequently released, police said.

During the stop, Vega Cruz made the poor decision to flee. After being stopped for just 30 seconds, he took off, leading police on a brief chase.

When police catch up to Vega Cruz further down the road, the teenager spins out before trying to take off once more. According to police, it was at this moment that Officer Layau Eulizier Jr. exited his vehicle and  “the suspect’s vehicle drove towards that officer,” forcing him to shoot.

However, when we watch the video below, it is entirely clear that Vega Cruz was not attempting to drive toward the officer and that Eulizier jumped in front of the vehicle before shooting Vega Cruz in the head twice.

A racist bigoted coward cop with an axe to grind against "niggers" abuses his badge and authority to racially profile and "legally" murder a black man by shooting him twice in the head, because the cop could "smell weed", then the lying cop lies again to cover up the evidence of the cops true criminal motives of official oppression and murder.

Legalize it already.

that driver never put down whatever he was smoking, all the way until the end, must be some good stuff.

wouldn't it be safer for the cop to begin a pursuit instead of hanging on for so long? he already has images of the driver and the car, and the plate #.
