I saw Joker this weekend, it was the psychological thrill ride I had hoped to get. Hat is off to Joaquin Phoenix, he is a phenominal actor. Great movie, almost no action, one of the best orgin stories on the big screen so far. I really enjoyed how they borrowed from other animated batman movies and graphic novel short series.
Joaquin Phoenix, was in another movie that got overlooked and thrown aside by critics and major hollwood, that was fucking amazing... called You were never really here <-- I thought this movie was fan-fucking-tasic, if you haven't seen it, watch it and let me know if you think I have shit taste or not.

I've been telling people this is the Scarface, the Godfather telling of the Joker. Cold blood killing. It was kinda shocking and I didn't expect this from Joaquin. This was also a glimpse into insanity. The cinematography and how they cut the scenes and twisted it all together was great. Movie of the year.
