Bizarre times. I was sure the 2016 presidential election had the worst candidates in U.S. history. It did. 2020 will either surpass it or be a close second. Warren vs Trump? Human shit vs pig shit. Take your pick and that's as good as it will get! Unreal.

I think the criticism is right and that the debates are simply forums for the establishment to promote their chosen candidate. It's a forced propaganda show and the other candidates who aren't being chosen by the establishment are noticing.
