i dunno it's just more of the same. only way they'll really be able to change anyting at this point is by having tons of different classes, like 10-20 of them.

After reading more on this, basically this is what 3 was supposed to be. D2 with new classess same features and better graphics... (Too bad we are only getting 5 classes, and so far they are the fucking same.) Oh look, the druid we should have had last game.
So they artificially inflated the franchises value by giving us 3. Which was a half hearted attempt at a proper sequel to 2. With less features, less size, and for the most part NOT THE GAME WE ASKED FOR.
Then they release 4 a proper "Looking" sequel to 2 after withholding all the good stuff from us last game.
Arn't we SO privileged.

yeah it's just rehashed so it won't do well so that'll be the end of the franchise.
i'd like to see literally at least 10 diff classes, all almost completely specialized so there's a lot more trading and people can set up their own shop chests or whatever so it's real easy to buy and sell equipment between players.
also they should all definitely have stuff that only they can make, to give the game at least one more dimension besides the "kill everything, collect drops, repeat". i'm thinking like making armor, swords, bows, traps, maybe throwable spells, stuff that other players can buy for where their characters can't do something.

Sadly, I think it will do well. Because people are stupid.
I agree on more classes. I like all the old ones. We just need more. This company has so much money compared to most of the others and pretty much everything they do from concept to the consumer is in house. There is no excuse for them bread crumbing the content to their customers.
The crafting ideas you mentioned are neat as well. I definitely agree that trade needs to be a priority. It was one of the main things that made d2 so great.
For me personally, no matter what they provide I'm not giving them another dime. After I found out last year that activision has been ousting the blizzard founders one by one, I swore never to support them again.
Besides. Iv'e been leaning out of video games and focusing on 40k tabletop. Expensive as hell as far as models and tools go. But deeply satisfying and the game and miniature displays you make are only limited by your creativity.
Just got my air brush today. Waiting on a compressor!
