It's several videos spliced together & gun shots added over the top in some parts. The police with guns are doing some kind of animal control work. The person laying on the pavement was in a scooter accident.
Are you sure? It could be chinese propaganda claiming it was fake, sceptisism works both way's

I think it's quite obviously fake just on watching the original. The part where there are gunshots in the background, the people are not reacting at all. You're talking about Chinese here, they don't have gun crime & it's not a war zone. They would scatter inside, not stand around like that. It's pretty obvious that it's at least 2+ separate videos spliced into 1. I think it's actually 4, based on the analysis here: https://srilanka.factcrescendo.com/english/recent-unrelated-videos-from-china-used-to-portray-chinese-police-shooting-coronavirus-victims/
So you don't have to believe the CGTN video that actually names the locations & interviews people involved, you can look into that link. Notice how the original video doesn't name anything specific - no names of victims or any details, just footage. That's a tell that it's unverified at best.

They're not good enough at propaganda to produce a video that fakes interviews with citizens & police like that.

It's definitely fake. Two different streets and yet the sound of gunfire is identical. Add to that the volume of gunfire is identical. And you can hear a non-existence swelling crowd noise. Unless the crowd is following the cameraman around. I think it's pretty safe to say, at least this compilation of footage and audio is not real.
The component parts however are obviously real and where they come from is a different story. I haven't read the articles or watched the follow-up video, so I can't really comment.

I think the "gun shots" are fireworks & may have been lifted from the clip of people tending to sick people on the ground & then added to the other clip.
Translation: Many rural people around Wuhan can't go to the hospital after being infected. They can't be diagnosed only by visiting their doctors. They eventually die at home! These deaths are certainly not counted in the official pneumonia deaths! In the background is a firework burst to celebrate the New Year, and they die desperately innocent! History may never have the truth!
Date: Jan 26, 2020 (Chinese New Year was 25 Jan, hence the fireworks). It was also when Wuhan hospitals were overwhelmed, just a few days after the lockdown was put into place & panic was peaking.

Obviously fake. Do you really think China are going to let people film and broadcast to the world what they are doing? If they were really going to do this they'd first cut off mobile networks and internet.

This is about 2 weeks old & has been debunked.
