Officials in Panama said a stranded cruise ship may have to dock in the United States. The ship carrying 1,800 people was on its way to Florida, but Panama denied it access to the Canal, suggesting it instead head to California. Four passengers have died on the cruise ship and more than 130 others have reported flu-like symptoms, two of whom have tested positive for COVID-19. The company, Holland America, is now racing to transfer people to another ship.

Stay away! We don't want the numbers to suddenly jump.

At this point, a cruise ship of cases would only be a blip in the US total.

Yeah, but 3 weeks ago keeping the numbers where they were and not allowing a cruise ship to dock and screw up the numbers was a big deal.
