I disagree. 5 Was incredible. 4 was a rushed cash grab.

I'm currently playing 5 for the first time and having a blast, it actually feels different in a good way. 4 felt like a rehashed version of 3, I couldn't even finish it.

hmm, guessing you didnt play 5 on release. i had issues with vehicles floating away, crashes and absolutely no stealth, clubbing a guy behind a building or getting close to an outpost meant everyone would turn hostile.
the reviews for 4 are better than 5, having four years between releases, the map sizes are the same and the graphics comparible. 4 was so good that they broke the record for sales on 5, 5 was so bad that 11 months later they released a sequal, far cry new dawn, which nobody bought. think the sales were 80% lower than 5 and it sold less than primal, which was a sequal to 4...

I very rarely buy games on release. Too expensive, and typically broken for awhile, plus I like to see the medium to long term reviews on a point by point basis.
99% of the time I grab games on steam sale. Epic games that are fixed up at a massive discount. Yes please.
Last game I bought On launch was MGSV. Which I had a blast with.
Next forseeable game I'll grab on launch is cyber punk.

Blood dragon is amazing. Worth full price even. I think it launched at 15 dollars, and it was easily a 30 dollar value.
It's everything about 80's action films that you love and more.
Only downside, it's a bit short and doesn't have a ton of replay value, but it's an amazing ride first time through!
