Probably because it was used appropriately and shows the dehumanization that can exist underlying the word itself.  People are indeed freaking out over a fucking Youtube star saying a word, but it's dumb as fuck to think that YOU would unabashadly say the word "nigger" while on the job or post it to your Facebook or tweet it out.  Would you say it in an interview?  Should you say it at church?  Should you say it to your children?

It's almost as though there are certain times you'll use it and then certain times you won't...like it has particular rules on how to properly use it (?!!!??!!????????).

Please confirm or deny.

Please refer to my laughing GIF with regard the little SJW sermon you just posted.  You fucks are so self absorbed with nothing better to do than shit your pants over a guy saying a naughty word in a live stream.

You can't even see how stupid you look either.  You have this vision of yourself as some grand moral crusader, when really you are just a whiny cunt with self esteem issues.

So if you were at a Tampa Bay football game surrounded by black dudes and DeSean Jackson butterfingers a play and you go "Fucking dumb ass nigger can't catch aids!!" 4 Black dudes come up and go watchew say hommie?

You would calmly yet not lacking any inveigh exclaim: "Whatever snowflakes go SJW your black asses back to censor-town where all the welfare niglets are made. Guess he Dindu Nuffins right?"

Naawwww you wouldn’t' say shit.

See it's not necessarily about censorship as much as it has to do with those neuro inhibitors that prevent us from making stupid judgment calls. You can have a anti-leftist hissy fit all you want and be all outraged that super leftist zealots are suppressing your good goddamn right to sling the word nigger anywhere you bloody well please. Or you can employ basic reasoning and realize that judgmental navigation in social settings is a real thing and it's also what keeps us civilized. I'm a fan of free speech but I'm also a follower of basic collectivist principles like not walking out my door and impulsively raping and murdering anyone my self-liberated being is pointed towards. If you want to obliterate all these oppressors out there, why don't you go out to a rally and call them nigger Jew cunt rape magnets because you’re on a mission to liberate words.

you might be right, but 4 huge guys getting angry doesn't mean they should be angry or have a right to be angry. nobody should be upset about any word, the intent behind the words are what matters.

a racist who uses the word "nigger" has exactly the same bigoted hatred as someone who doesn't.

pretty sure there's even a proverb about fine words not making a fine person or something like that.

I find the example of football players amazing.

Because except for the prison industry and human trafficking, sports is the closest thing to a slave trade in the modern world.

You also implied that black people are big and scary by using that particular sport and referencing that particular team.

Your entire argument rest upon the idea that you shouldn't say the offensive word, not because it's inhumane, offensive or wrong, but because black people might do something to you if you did.

hahahahaha.

That's the most racist thing I've read all day, and that includes the word "nigger".

"4 BIG black guys."

Nope just 4 black guys. You wrote in the term "big and scary" not me. So projection? I just implied a responsibility to reality.

Also if you stand by your arguement then by all means excersize the social experiment and prove me wrong....please. Please do it and report back to me when you're done. I promise to respect your sociological/consequential findings. Because HEY!! We all want to be apart of the same reality right?

As far as your prison reference goes. My buddy was in prison (in Canada) and when I visited him a few times, it wasnt the blacks he feared most. So the racial prison reference was weird. ALSO BLACKS AS SPORTS SLAVES? WHAT. THE. FUCK? No other expoited super rich races involved? White asian ethno whateverthefuck-----super retarded implication there- no offense but that was a grade A absurdist remark. Back to prison..Not to say black prisoners cant be scary but context is important here. Lastly the whole inverted racism manoeuver is a such a weak cop-out. Stay on point or GTFO.

You wouldn't use Tampa Bay as an example if you weren't trying to insinuate that big black guys would mess you up if you said the word "nigger" around them. It's obvious that you did it for that reason or you wouldn't mention an American football team.

Secondly, "4 Black dudes come up and go watchew say hommie?"

Is that how black people talk according to you?

Social experiment? Are you challenging people to contribute to needless racism just to prove your own point?

You had a buddy in prison, congratulations. I have no frame of reference for being in prison so I can't challenge you on his fears. My prison reference was about the slave trade, not if black people are scary or not. Because there's more black people in prison than in college, which is outrageous. And the privatization of the prison system which uses prisoners as cheap labor, makes law enforcement even more biased against black people who are poor and can't afford good lawyers, can't afford an education and are unaware of their rights. Private prisons need prisoners to work for them, so there has actually been quotas for police to arrest people. Which is systematically racist and proves there's a legalized slave trade. I'm not the first one to make that observation.

As for sports, I think it might be a little complicated for you. Simply because athletes are provided with wealth does not mean they're free to do as they want. They are traded for their physical abilities for large sums of money and their lives are laid out in contracts by their owners. If they "act out", engaging in any activity on their free-time that their owners, sponsors or the people who run the sport deem unacceptable, they're punished for it. And white people, or any "race" are also "slaves" in sports. "Slave" is not exclusive to black people. I said it was "the closest thing to slavery" along with the prison system and human trafficking, so don't take this as I was saying sports is literally exactly like slavery. As you said, there's a context.

"Inverted racism manoeuver" isn't a real thing. Your remarks about black people in your first comment are racist, and I pointed it out. It's that simple.

The metaphor went passed your already made up brain. It was based in the audience not the actual football players. Are every black football fan big and scary? Obviously not, but you wouldn’t be slinging the term nigger in a group of black people. Thinking that black people would attend a Tampa Bay football game is not an outlandish or biased assumption and you wouldn’t yell nigger in the midst of them. THE END -that’s it.... The rest is blah blah blah sorry too long a shot with hollow points. Your prattling strays way too far from the simple fact and obvious gist.

Lastly the whole inverted racism ...TRANSLATION: "I know you are but what am I.." Weak cop-out. You expose shit when employing it. Good day sir

You mentioned Tampa Bay, you mentioned DeSean Jackson, you mentioned being surrounded by black people, you mentioned screaming that "Fucking dumb ass nigger can't catch aids". You actually applied your imagination to come up with something worse than the word itself.

But the thing that stops me from saying the word "nigger" is not the threat of violence as a result, which is the scenario you described.

I wouldn't use the word "nigger" in a group of black people for the same reason I generally don't curse in public, or try not to curse around children.

It's common decency, as in common knowledge that it would be wrong to do.

Errr, I'll point out that it's YOU posting a whiny video about how Pewdie Pie is censored (because he's been arrested by the government, right?) and then YOU posted 3 comments in a row complaining about it, and then YOU took a beloved movie about slavery and warped it to fit your political need.

"You can't even see how stupid you look either."  Heh. Yep.

The problem with embedding pics and vids, requiring folks to run around gathering points to do it, was an issue that existed inside the mind of a single mod, I reckon. The restrictions should never have been put there in the first place - I still have not heard a single logical explanation for it.

PewDiePie catching shit for using a racial slur on a stream isn't really the problem. Just as it's his right to say what he wants, it's other people's right to think he's an asshole for it. They can get fired up on their Twitter, make response videos, unsubscribe, whatever. If his reputation suffers, that's on him.

The real problem is this Firewatch dev that's trying to exploit the fact that YouTube doesn't have anyone's back on copyright claims. If his crusade to rally people and get his channel shut down is successful, it sets a dangerous precedent on the level of control outside parties have on a creator's content. This is exactly the kind of thing fair use is supposed to protect creators from, but it has continually been shit on because YouTube are a bunch of lazy fuckheads that allow people to get away with filing false claims.

People like this dev do a way better job of making the internet shitty than some dude blurting out nigger.

I conjecture that it was a way to try to get people to participate in the site by voting on comments or on videos.  It's actually not a bad idea because there are videos that have 10+ comments that have literally 3 votes.  The incentivization was a bit questionable because it made commentors feel gimped and limited.
