No, it does not, it only revs to around 6000. Engine is a 180º 3 cylinder.

That's pretty cool. It looks like it was basically a precursor to race bikes. I had a 900 Ninja which was one of the first race bikes that actually looked like a race bike and had handling for it. Honda was my other favourite at the time with their CBR lines.

More like one of the first muscle bikes. The engine was way too wide to achieve any lean angle necesary for racing even in these days. That's why motogp is eithe 4 in a row or V4.

since 1997 i have owned and still own and maintain a 1980 yamaha dx100
currently i am making a video on fixing the piston rings. however it turns out it may be the crankcase gasket.
