You don't actually wear a mask outside when there's no one else around. You can't be that stupid. If you're wearing a mask all the time to show your virtue like an idiot you're almost certainly touching that mask at some point without realizing it and then handling objects that others handle. You should limit use of your mask only to situations where it is rational.

Depends on where you live.
Here in Spain you have to wear a mask at all times in public spaces, if you don't you risk a fine. This was introduced following the last spike in infections and will probably be lifted soon.
You still don't understand why we are supposed to wear masks. Also following your logic it only makes sense to wear a mask at all times when running some errand because when putting it on and off and stowing it away you interfere with your mask but that is not really the issue as a mask is not really PPE.
