Now I love the idea but isn't the grease dropping into the coal exactly what you want to avoid unless you are in a race to get cancer?

Yeah, burnt fat doesnt work the way they say it will. Also, you wont be able to grill off this as the coals are too far down, they have to be pretty close to the grill on top. They say its easy to change the spent coals out but if you need more cooking time you have to remove all the grills, the food your cooking, stick your arms and head down there to reach the coal pan, in a hot sticky, smelly tube. No thanks.
