Man, thats one of my fears, just traveling along listening to some music, possibly day dreaming, then a random vehicle comes at me straight on.

Accept that you are going to die and you'll live a free man not bound by fear.

What do you think, I dont ever drive becuase I fear this will happen? LOL. Shit happens, I accept it, I just think it would be a shitty thing to have happen though. A healthy dose of fear does make me pay attention more so to oncoming traffic.

I get what you're saying. It's better to have a healthy dose of fear to keep you focused if the alternative is daydreaming.
More of an extreme example, but I think this free climber puts it well.
“I have the same hope of survival as everybody else. I just have more of an acceptance that I will die at some point.”
There no place for fear or you will fall. Just 100% focus on what you're doing.

LOL, yes, great example! But it would be more like as if a boulder just randomly came crashing down on you. He would probably think that would be a shitty thing to happen to you. Something that is out of your control and not something you can plan for.

Yeah but the point is there's no point in worrying about what might happen if it out of your control. That's where the acceptance of death comes in and you can be more focused on what is actually in your control -> hanging on the wall.
The same can be applied to smaller things in everyday life.

I've been in similiar mental situations like that. Confused, doubtful, horrified... It's nice when it stops at doubtful.
