Would love to see that happen, but yea...no. There will be loads of delays and setbacks and i'm just going to be happy if I ever get to witness that at all during my lifetime.
Also blows my mind why they are not first starting off with the moon, at least make a colony and or a base there and see how things go and get some experience. Why skip that step and inmediatly go for Mars.
I think its weird and a waste that we havent been on the moon for this long aswell. If u look at how far space travel was and how fast it advanced in the end of the sixtys, u'd expect all kinds of moonbases and colonies by now, hell even moon cruises and all inclusive hotels.
More money and effort into space exploration and technology and less into war u ignorant smallminded fools!
Governments and corporations have no reason to go to mars beyond small exploratory missions with robots until some time in the late 2030' at its earliest. But humanity should've reached mars by the 80'. The governments and corporations of today are impeding human progress, wasting resources on their powergames. So they need to go away.
Elon Musk has been setting up power supply on islands (even gonna set up Puerto Rico before dipshit Drumpftards) and is talking mars while Right Wingers are talking about ressurecting Coal jobs. Its like they dont understand that what used to take 48 men now takes 8 men with computer knowledge. And we are planning mars commercial flights already , 28 minute flights around the world etc.
We are gonna go to the moon, But the Right Wing will be assholes the whole way, they already call anyone that goes to college a "fucking liberal cuck" , they will push knowledge and facts as the enemy the whole way "Trump had a bigger crowd than Obama!". Its gonna be a battle but our passion for knowledge and drive for exploration will bring us through their retardness.
