In a yearlong study of 621 people in the U.K. with mild Covid-19, scientists found that their peak viral load was similar regardless of vaccination status, according to a paper published Thursday in The Lancet Infectious Diseases medical journal.

Peak load is similar, however, it diminishes quicker and people unlikely get sick or die.
This is probably true for those that are recovered.
Do you think this is an argument against vacination? If so why?

How often does learning first aid give you a heart attack?

This depends on many other factors.
For me a very simple procedure would solve all this. Unvaccinated being tested positive for covid and suffering symptoms are to be denied emergency room services. End of story, let's get on with our lives.

Sure. I'd include addicts, alcoholics and obese to this list too. They all did it to themselves.

Being antivaxx is not addictive, it is an illness though

Being obese creates many illnesses though. Basically one of the biggest burdens to western medical care.
I bet fat people would get their shit together real fast when we would deny care for anything that is caused by obesity. Think how much money we would save and how many ICU beds it would free up.

The definition of antivaxx keeps changing. It seems that the definition of antivaxx is whatever it needs to be to shame people into obeying authoritarian lunatics. Thankfully, it looks like folks are starting to finally wake up.

None of these are contageous or clog up emergency rooms. So this argument is invalid. Also alcoholics struggle to get liver transplants, so there is something similar in place already.

They caused it themselves, thats the point, isn't it.
Though thats not really a good comparison as I don't think anyone willingly gets covid. but obese people and alchoholics choose what to put in their mouth even though the science is clear on this.
Ironically many of the corona patients that need IC care have an underlying condition called being a fuck.

Corona patients that have not been vaccinated by now and need IC actually do have an underlying condition, which is called being stupid.

Is your argument that those who have not been vaccinated and need IC should lose their jobs and be persecuted in society because of the cost of caring for them? Is that your argument?

I do like the freedom she gets to exercise. Too many places she would be physically forced to be vaccinated. She can just do something else.

Lol always making this shit about freedom. They weren't forcing her to work there, not a single person forced her. They made a rule at her workplace that she didn't agree with it, took a stand. Kudos, anyone that stands up for what they believe in is fine, but, those are the consequences. It sucks, but happens all the fuckin time without any political freedom bullshit and it's a solid reminder that we really don't have so much control. Hopefully she can work somewhere else that she wants. That's freedom.

Yep, the "freedom" shouting is just another red herring. Personal freedom is restricted everywhere in every modern society.

Well, why become a nurse when you are science averse anyway.

Well why become a nurse when you can't even take care of yourself :)

Maybe she read this article and came to the conclusion that the vaccine is taken for your own safety, not for the sake of others.
