You have to be fully vaccinated for everything to even be listed and considered for transplant. This is nothing new.
Same as the military requiring vaccines. Nobody bitched about any of those, but chose the COVID vaccine to be their garbage pile to die on. And they will die, because nobody is going to give an organ to a non compliant moron.

The hospital indicated that there are other underlying medical reasons for that than "only" increased risk from effects of a covid infection.
In any case: Of course you get denied a transplant when someone else is more suitable for it because they either had covid or are vaccinated. You also don't give a liver transplant to someone who was admitted being drunk. It is a simple matter of assessing risk, organs are not given out on a first come first serve basis.
