Message to parents at the Ottawa demonstration 02/16/22
CASO urges parents at the Ottawa demonstration to make necessary alternate care arrangements
(Ottawa) – The Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa (CASO) is urging parents at the demonstration in Ottawa to make the necessary alternate care arrangements should they become unable to care for their children following potential police action.
CASO has a mandate to protect a child when their parent becomes unavailable to exercise their custodial rights over the child and the parent has not made adequate provision for the child’s care and custody.
If parents and children are separated following police efforts in ending the demonstration in the downtown core, CASO will work to reunite families as soon as possible

Possession of them are a detterent. They force the enemies of the people to work much harder and slower to achieve their aims.
They are also a last resort when cornered and atrocity is unavoidable. Without them, atrocity is absolute and unpunished.
They are also a merciful end to oppressors, and actually ensure a higher survival rate of combatants. A human wave of enraged citizens with spades, mallets, and fire is neither merciful, and a meat grinder against automatic weapons to fight it out at worst, or a war of stealth and aysemmetric warefare at best.
