What you're really playing for is combat experience to possibly get into contract work after if you come home with both legs.
Contractors can be paid up to 6 figures per tour, get the best toys, and are typically pardoned for war crimes.

Specialists being mostly former special forces and contractors. Those are your REAL mercenaries. Guys like that will get paid no matter what they put their hands to considering they have half a dozen USEFUL skills.
