Briefing by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Igor Konashenkov as of 10.00 April 4, 2022   • The grouping of troops of the Donetsk People's Republic, developing the offensive, captured the fortified area and liberated the settlement of NOVOBAKHMUTOVKA.  During the fighting, up to a company of the 25th airborne brigade of the enemy was destroyed,   • Units of the People's Militia of the Lugansk Republic advanced to a depth of 2 kilometers and blocked the settlement of NOVOTOSHKOVSKOE from the east and south.   • The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continued to strike at the military infrastructure of Ukraine.   • On the night of April 4, near the city of LYSICHANSK, as a result of an air strike, the command post of the 24th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces and nearby warehouses with ammunition, weapons and military equipment were destroyed.   • As a result of the April 3 attack on the BALOVNE airfield, in the suburbs of Nikolaev, the destruction of three helicopters of the Ukrainian armed forces was confirmed.   • Russian air defense systems shot down six unmanned aerial vehicles in the air in the areas of the settlements of Nikolaev, Kherson, Kurakhivka, INDUSTRIAL, VELIKA NOVOSELKA.   • During the night, operational-tactical aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces hit 14 military facilities of Ukraine.

  - Among them: two command posts, two launchers of anti-aircraft missile systems "Buk-M1" in the areas of KRASNOGORKA and VERKHNETORETSKOE, one artillery battery, two depots of rocket and artillery weapons and ammunition and three fuel depots, as well as 6 strongholds and areas of concentration of combat  APU technology.   • In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 125 aircraft, 91 helicopters, 392 unmanned aerial vehicles, 226 anti-aircraft missile systems, 1936 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 211 multiple rocket launchers, 833 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as  1810 units of special military vehicles.
