Yup, it made me feel sick just watching them.
Our boss wasn't operating as safe as possible yesterday either. But he took the biggest risk by working from the top, so I looked at it it's your skin not mine. If he wouldv'e told me to work from the top under the ideas he had I would have refused. No job is worth your life.
Funny moment. We were working on his private home the past few days with stone masons and a stucko crew. Our job was at the roof with installing wood infracture for J trim, soft plate under the roof edge and facing / gutters.
As he was on top taking the scaffold down he shouts " Man this scaffold was set up so unsafe." We frowned as we were all working on it. We didn't set it up.
Fortunately we do our own roofing sites where we harness and anchor up, and he just grabs contracts and drops off mats, and does the final inspection when the sites done.
