I know you know fuck all about Abe other than what western propaganda shows you so let's make this relatable...if Merkel was literally grandfathered into politics by Karl Wolff (who instead of being prosecuted for war crimes had gone on to become the PM of West Germany), mentored by him, spent her life denying Nazi war crimes, being an apologist for the 3rd Reich & trying to bring about a 4th Reich & trying to remilitarize Germany to bring back the glory of their Nazi past while blocking any form of admission of guilt for the atrocities committed I'd dance on her grave too.
