i hope abp or ublock will come up with a viable solution however, if they don't i'm more than happy to change browsers for the majority of my internet needs.

I never understood why people used chrome in the first place. FIrefox works fine and Mozilla, unlike Alphabet, isn't an evil megacorp.

I used FF since the begining, but at some point it started to stutter on YT videos. I guess it was some weird driver issue. Couldn't get it to work, so switched to Chrome.

Wonder what will happen to FireFox when Google stops paying them royalties that account for 95% of their revenue?
Especailly now that Firefox is effectivily dead.

Switched to Brave last year and have never looked back. It's secure, private, fast, doesn't kill my battery, syncs across devices, and decent ad-block. Lots to love and it keeps getting better. Also the couple chrome extensions I rely on work perfect.
