Don't forget to put you finger in the water! You don't want to ruin your fucking whiskey! Edit: In no way is this a definitive way to drink Scotch Whiskly. Drink it on the rocks, or out of a coffee mug, or out of your hand if that pleases you. Really in my opinion, this video is a bit pretentious.... and completely absurd.... thats what makes it gold!

my impression is all the "proper" ways to drink or evaluate alcoholic beverages are loads of BS. i thought there were taste tests done to "professional" wine critics where they would be given the same drinks, but told that they were different drinks. then the wine critics would usually give different reviews for the same drink. could be that the critics that were tested are phonies. but i think just drink whatever you want, however you want.

well whiskey is by nature a horrible drink that gets/got you drunk that they put in oak to age and maybe give it some nicer taste but i have to say the more you drink it the more youll like it and find a partucular brand or type that suits you..

I absolutely agree with this statement. My girlfreind was scoffing at me last night because I was telling her about the subtleties of different types of whisky, and tequilas for that matter. She didn't believe me that whiskies could taste so different from one another. I've been on the whisky afficianado train for a few years, and although I always like to taste something new, I definitely have my "go to" spirits.

I just started putting a few drops, and I must say it really does improve the flavor/drinking experience.
