it seems expensive but its not, if you consider that you can't farm everywhere, a hectare of farm land in belgium is worth over 40k euros, 8k to kill 30 and keep the land for another day is cheap

You are right.
But still shooting them with bullets or dropping nades with a drone would have been much cheaper 1k for a quadcopter witch can be used again and 45 bucks per grenade 2K and they would have died just aswell you can drop 9 hand grenades for the price of 1 artillery shell, but reloading it is a slow bitch so i see why they opted for artillery in this case, they were to close to the trench, time matters.

not enough time. the guys in the trench don't operate the drones that drop grenades. those guys are further back or maybe not even in the area. the drone being used is from the guys operating the artillery. fucking ballsy to call for fire support on your location. but it was do or die

the emotions they must have gone through. from the adrenaline of taking an enemy trench to being scared shitless with an enemy tank firing rounds at you from 30 feet away. talk about buyers remorse
