Gun Test: Firing Empty Shell's Handheld XM556 Microgun

Empty Shell recently developed a cutting-edge version of the M134 Minigun chambered in 5.56mm NATO that the company calls the "XM556 Microgun." While there has been a prototype weapon or two over the years that launched 5.56mm ammo out of an electric rotary-barrel platform, the Empty Shell XM556 is an entirely new firearm.

I suppose a gun like that will have it's uses once the military exo-skeletons start to be atleast in occasional use. Before that it's just a needless hazard and a cool toy.

There we go with that whole "need" bullshit again.  I own a lot of things I don't need and I'm sure you do as well.  How would you like it if I outlawed your ability to own something that, while having ZERO effect on me, made me feel better by you not having it?

Mmmm, pretty smart argument.  But if it's not a need then why do you poop your pants everyone looks at the 2nd amendment critically?

I never said the 2nd Amendment was not a need.  The 2nd Amendment is certainly something we all need as it quite clear that without it little tryrants like yourself would have voted away the natural right it garuntees a long time ago.

Read my comment again.  I simply stated that you have not business dictating what I should not have based on what YOU think I need.  And likewise I have no business dictating what you should not have based what I think YOU need.

In this instance we are talking about types of firearms.  I could give a flying fuck what sort of firearm you think I need.  If I am wealthy enough to afford a weapon that fires 6000 rounds a minutes, then what you think I needs means fuck all to me.

You really ought to do a little digging into the subject of liberty.  You might not be so confounded by the positions I hold once you understand the basis upon which I hold them.

Let's apply this logic to something you wouldn't poop your pants over someone owning; a private jet.  Now I might not think you NEED a one million dollar jet to go grocery shopping in another State.  I can tell you this, the person with enough money to buy one and use it in that matter couldn't give a fuck less about my or your opinion concerning what he "needs".

Who said anything about banning it? Did you miss that 'cool toy' part? Are you really that incabable of seeing a third option between your American dualistic choice of  'ban all guns - allow all guns'?

As part of weapons training, say for some type of an artillery piece, you learn how you're supposed to set that weapon up so you don't kill yourself or those around you with it right? Same thing with a minigun like that. You need either strength and training to be able to maintain the shooting line or whatever it's called, shooting down the lane instead of spinning due to the kickoff or you need an exoskeleton that's made to do that for you.

As a toy, a showpiece, it could be sold without the firing pins and whatnot rotary mechanisms and then someone could illegally add those to it if they wanted. Which isn't the same thing as selling dull swords and other similarly technically useless weapons for decoration purposes but it's close enough I suppose.

Telling people they cannot own this is a clear violation of the second amendment.

Assuming those people have a clean criminal record to go along with the large bank account to cover not just the firearm, but the insane ammount of ammo to feed it; then you bet your fucking ass it's a clear violation of the 2nd Amendment.

There are fully transferable (Pre-Huges) mini-guns on the market RIGHT NOW.

As long as the government reacts the same when someone walks into a school and mows down hundreds of kids with it and when someone walks into Congress and mows down hundreds of Congressmen.

I don't think you've thought your fantasy throught very well.  Is this "someone" walking into the school a cyborg from the future?  Because if not, there's no way a single person is going to lug the mini-gun, the battery power supply and enough ammo to fire for more than a second anywhere.  Of the hand full of people who have decided to attack a school, how many of them did so with $30,000 weapons?

Did you see the man in the video clip?  He could barely maintain control for a short burst.

I swear.  You lefties would ban your own fucking shadows if you thought for a second there was someway it could harm you.

Fuck off with the libtard/leftie bullshit. I've been a conservative Republican my whole life. The obvious fact that Trump is a pathological liar among his many faults makes you call anyone who thinks he's an idiot an automatic leftie. Totally incorrect.

My fantasy? Skip the scenario, it's way too difficult for you to grasp. It's way over your head. Let me ask you this then. Would the reaction to someone with a machinegun be the same if they walked into a school and mowed down a hundred kids be the same as if someone walked into the House of Congress and mowed down a hundred Congressmen?
