in general, its something that happens to people that used to be asked for their opinion. eventually, people stop asking for their opinion but they still feel inclined to give it
dawkins got used to people asking him for his opinion, then 2014-2015 rolled around and he said some stuff that was taking as anti-trans. so people stopped asking for his opinion. he got dj jazzy jeffed
now he's doing the woke tour catering to the alt right. which usually comes with asking for money
