i agree, the intro was pretty neat, but then i didn't like the main characters very much. then the story was a bit all over the place.

The story was shit, the characters were shit, the fuckin spread your arms to put on a belt-move was completely unnecessary. They had a gadget for every fucking problem that arose instead of CHARACTER.
The only thing with character I saw were the aliens. That fat shark eyes looking guy bringing the girl dresses to try on was the only time I genuinly laughed through the entire movie.
And of course, here is my alien husband, let us hear him speak, HELLO I HAVE A WOMAN VOICE ISN'T THAT WEIRD AND SOMEHOW SUPPORTIVE OF DIVERSITY AND LGBTQRSTUVXYZ???!?!?! AND LETS USE THE LORD OF THE RINGS VOICE NARRATOR, DON'T YOU MEAN THE GEARS OF WAR VOICE? YEAH LETS USE HER.
HEY THERE WAS AN ALIEN QUEEN SINGER IN THE FIFTH ELEMENT, LETS MAKE RIHANNA BE IT, AND ALSO BLUE BUT TOTALLY CGI, AND WHEN SHE DIES, GIVE SPEECH ABOUT LOVE AND HAVE BLUE GUTS COMING OUT AND HAVE MAKE UP LIKE QUEEN CLEOPATRA TO TELL THE VIEWER THE OBVIOUS SHIT. AND WE MET HER FIVE MINUTES AGO, I'M NOT CRYING OVER A SQUID, BECAUSE HER CGI STRIPSHOW WILL NEVER EVER COME CLOSE TO THE OPERA SCENE IN THE FIFTH ELEMENT WHICH HAD NONE OF THEM.
And the main characters look like siblings for fuck sake.
Fuck this movie. All the best scenes were the artists' work which all got their work shown in the trailers.
