I'd imagine this would be a game changer for small shops and hobbyists...well anyone really who doesn't want to spend thousands on a cnc machine.

Got a new printer a few months back. Learning a bit of cad for making some simple parts. At first its kinda frustrating but it almost becomes fun when you learn the basics :)

Watch out it can become addictive, i used to build 3D games and refused to sleep at some point.

Addictive would be better. Today I've been pulling my hair out and mumbling to my self "why the fuck isn't this working" after hours of fumbling what should a few minutes job.

Yeah you need to learn all the tricks and tools, that just makes it easy, and you have to build about every day otherwise you forget functions.

Yeah, the needing to constantly do so you wont forget sucks. Not like riding a bike.
Made a circuit board case yesterday. Was so proud of myself that it fit on the first go ;)
