Youtube is completely clueless about a very important reality: Youtube watchers get to pick and choose exactly the kinds of videos they like to watch. Most of them choose very unique combinations of smaller channels and maybe a few larger ones. They do not fit within one big mold and have no desire to be forced into one.
By slapping a bunch of popular things together like they did in that video it is exactly what Youtube is doing. They are trying to force their audience into one big mold of K-Pop listening Fortnite players and whatever the fuck else the others were supposed to be. By trying to appeal to as many people as possible, they created a video that pisses everyone off.
This is exactly the kind of tone deaf corporate bullshit that people have learned to become very sensitive to.
