My 2c
I don't like her support for the War on Terror(TM) or that she co-sponsored a pro-Israel bill but her general anti-war stance backed up by her military service should do well in a country so fatigued by forever war. She'll contribute well to the debates so I hope she gives it a good nudge.
A number of smears have already surfaced, a lot of them are debunked here.
Her pro-Israel stance is dissected here
- received only $22k from the Zionist lobby in the past 2 years
- endorses the "special relationship" the US has with Israel
- pretends an ethno-state can be a democracy
- supports a 2-state solution but only if the Palestinians are defenseless
The best endorsement for Tulsi so far:
Everyone in the pro-Israel lobby (myself included) is already talking about how to make sure that Tulsi Gabbard's campaign is over before it even gets off the ground — If you're going to bet on a Dem candidate, look elsewhere
