All my battery operated tools are Makita as I can't (better: don't want to) afford Hilti. Milwaukee seems to be up and coming in Spain, on contractor of mine has the whole range and is happy with it. When I look at them, I have a feeling they are a not too well hidden copy of Makita.
With some mains current tools I am not so fussed but battery powered stuff needs to be high quality, also once you bought one you are pretty much fixed on the brand, hence it better be a good one.
