When everything run flawlessly with robotic and AI, the working mass will be obsolete. I don't want to be pessimist but the way things goes around aknowledge the worst.

Technology can 'save us' but if it is controlled by the 'wrong' interests its results will be catastrophic for some or most. For example if companies will 'own technology' they will utilize it to maximize profits despite the outsourced costs resting on the rest of us. Or it can be used to create utopia'. Our choice.
