More US power going down the Israeli drain.
It looks like just Turkey & China will be likely to continue openly purchasing oil from Iran. India is Iran's 2nd largest customer & has already said they'll follow along with the sanctions. Japan & South Korea will rollover like the poodles they are. Without both India & China buying their oil, Iran's economy is going to suffer terribly. Their currency has already shrunk to 1/3 of its value in the past 2 years. In the long term this is going to bite the US in the butt.

From what I can see it has mostly something to do with serving the Saudi Arabian regime's interests. Not that it makes it any better.

It's a plot by what the Iranian Foreign Minister dubs 'The B Team':
Bibi, Bolton, Bin Salman & Bin Zayed (UAE)
Bibi seems to hold the most influence in the B Team, followed by Bolton. They want to squeeze Iran until they can get a war going. This latest move is just one step in a process that's been going on for decades. Really it goes back to 1953 when the US took over Iran. Then 1979 they got kicked out & have never got over it. Israel came on board in the 90's followed by the Saudis & Emerates. Israel holds the most influence on Washington policy in that region right now though. Bolton & Kushner are Netanyahu's people.
