When Ventura lied about his Vietnam service as a Navy SEAL, I never took anything he said seriously. I think Kyle lied too.
Ventura never passed the additional 26 week course for SEAL training after finishing BUDs- Basic Underwater Demolition for UDTs- Underwater Demolition Teams. After they combined, Ventura has gone on to lie and say he was a Navy SEAL and that he served in combat in Vietnam. He didn't. He got the Vietnam service medal because he sat on ships offshore but never served in combat in Vietnam, though he always says he was a SEAL in Vietnam but doesn't want to talk about the combat he was in. He has lied about a lot more.
He has said many times he did "Missions" during his "Vietnam service" insinuating that he performed combat action there. He never served in Vietnam but has pushed that line for decades. He has lied about that and about being a SEAL. Period. No? Hoax. Jesse never lies.
