Yeah, I really liked the movie, including the ending.

I was kind of hoping at the end they'd surprise us with Mike showing up in Alaska - there was never explicit confirmation that he actually expired unless I missed that. All you saw was him slump over from a distance.

Well Walter probably buried him they just did not show it, It was not 100% clear whether Walter was dead or not but, although some seemed to think a revival being plausible, it would not have made for sensible storyline. I think they liked to keep their options open.

I guess because it was implied that Jesse had escaped at the end of BB, I didn't think a story about the exact way he escaped was super interesting. Then you have all these flashbacks that, as I said before, just feel like a bunch of deleted scenes all stitched together.
The movie is still BB quality in terms of writing. There's some great character moments like Jesse trying to call the Vacuum guy's bluff. I just don't think Vince Gilligan had a lot of wiggle room to do anything surprising because the series already said everything that needed to be said, and 90% of the cast was dead by the end anyway.
